Glazing skills
Do you ever feel a little lost when glazing time comes around? Build your glazing confidence and learn some new techniques in this one-evening workshop with our studio tech and glaze specialist Felix.
If you have your own commercial brush-on glazes that you want help applying, bring them along!
Skill level: This class is for folks who are familiar with the basics of glazing, but want to build skills and confidence.
Claymates members: Have at least 6 bisque pieces ready to practice on! Pieces will be fired as usual.
Non-members: Please bring up to 6 bisque pieces to glaze. Clay must be cone 6. This workshop does not include bisque firing of pots. Your pieces will be glaze fired and available for pickup 2 weeks after the workshop.
Cancellation policy:
Claymates requires 7 days notice to cancel or reschedule workshops. Notice must be given via email. After this point, refunds, credits, and rescheduling are not possible. A $50 administration fee applies to all cancellations, regardless of time frame. If you choose a credit rather than a refund, the administration fee is waived.
Cancellations due to illness:
When you purchase a class at Claymates, you are taking the risk that you might be sick on the date when your class rolls around. While we understand that getting sick is outside your control, it is also outside of ours. We are a small business, and we are not able to give refunds or reschedule due to last-minute illness. If you are sick, please do not attend your class to protect the teacher and other participants. Please email us ASAP to let us know that you're not coming, and if you'd like to send someone else in your place.
